A Day in the Life

You arrive to a clean, well-organized production floor, gear up with PPE, and take ownership of your line. You’ll set up the machine for the day’s run, load rolls and materials, and dial in the right parameters. Throughout the shift, you’ll monitor extrusion, rewinding, and slitting processes, make adjustments as needed, and keep a close eye on product quality. As orders change, you’ll perform efficient changeovers, then inspect, package, stack, and stage finished goods for shipping. You end your shift with accurate documentation and a safe handoff to the next operator.

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time 12-hour shifts: choose days (6am–6pm) or nights (6pm–6am)
• 2-2-3 schedule structure
• NO SWING SHIFT
• Pay: $18–$25 per hour
• Evaluation-to-hire with a strong intent for long-term placement
• Training and growth opportunities are available

What You’ll Do

• Operate and monitor converting equipment: extrusion machines, rewinders, and slitters
• Complete machine setups, including loading rolls and materials
• Execute quick, precise changeovers between customer orders
• Inspect finished goods, then package, stack, and prepare shipments
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements at all times

What You Bring

• Minimum 2 years of machine operation experience (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Paper converting and/or nonwovens background preferred
• Motivated, team-oriented, and positive attitude

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs on a regular basis

Core Proficiencies

• Mechanical troubleshooting
• Machine setups for production runs
• Plastic extrusion experience
• Familiarity with nonwovens
