Shift Details:

  • Mon/Fri 9AM-3PM 

  • 2 Weeks Orientation (Mon/Fri 8AM-4PM)
Psychiatrist  Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic interviews.

  • Diagnose and treat mental health and behavioral health conditions.

  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.

  • Prescribe and monitor medications as clinically appropriate.

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

  • Provide psychotherapy or other appropriate psychiatric interventions.

  • Collaborate with nurses, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

  • Follow applicable clinical, safety, ethical, and facility requirements.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  • Minimum 1-year previous working experience within the last 36 months (3yrs) as a Psychiatrist

  • CDCR or CERNER experience preferred

  • Familiarity with medical terminology

  • A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)

  • Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
