Requirements

• 5 years of HR business partner or comparable HR generalist experience
• Experience providing day-to-day HR support to organizational leaders and employees
• Experience with HR investigations
• Experience working with Unions
• Ability to provide onsite HR support at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center
• Full-time, exempt individual contributor
• Experience maintaining continuity of HR services and responding to operational HR needs
• Ability to partner with leaders on workforce and employee-related matters

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with healthcare or hospital-based HR operations
• Experience supporting acute-care or patient-care environments
• Experience supporting complex or multi-site organizations
• Proficiency in enterprise HR information systems

Summary / Duties

Provide onsite HR support for Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, ensuring consistent HR coverage for leaders and employees. Serve as an HR partner, addressing operational HR needs, supporting workforce and employee-related matters, and assisting leaders with HR processes. Responsibilities include maintaining HR service continuity, coordinating with HR resources, addressing HR matters, and implementing organizational HR practices effectively. Bring strong HR experience, sound judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
