Full Time Non-CDL Delivery DriverToft Dairy 3717 Venice Road, Sandusky, OH 44870 Schedule Monday through Friday Start time Midnight – 4:00AM End time Completion of delivery route (typically an 8-hour day)The Non-CDL Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering dairy and ice cream products to customers using a non-CDL box truck. This role ensures timely deliveries, proper product handling, and excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and transportation regulations. The Driver plays a key role in representing the company and ensuring customer satisfaction.Operational Responsibilities:Safely operate a non-CDL box truck to deliver products to assigned customer locationsLoad, transport, and unload dairy and ice cream products in a safe and efficient mannerFollow established delivery routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries Verify product quantities and accuracy during loading and deliveryMaintain proper temperature control and product integrity during transport Collect and complete delivery paperwork, invoices, and customer documentationCommunicate delivery updates, delays, or issues to dispatch or management Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsMaintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicleAssist in warehouse loading and staging as neededCustomer Service Responsibilities:Provide professional and courteous service to all customersBuild and maintain positive relationships with customers at delivery locationsAddress customer questions or concerns and escalate issues when necessaryEnsure accurate and complete deliveries to meet customer expectationsCompliance & Safety Expectations:Follow all company safety policies and safe driving practicesComply with all applicable traffic laws and transportation regulationsAdhere to food safety standards and proper product handling proceduresMaintain a clean driving record and report any incidents immediately Ensure safe loading, unloading, and handling of products to prevent damage or injuryPhysical & Work Requirements:Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shiftAbility to push/pull loaded hand trucks or cartsAbility to get in and out of the truck frequently throughout the day Ability to work in varying weather conditions Ability to work early mornings, extended hours, and occasional weekends or holidays as neededQualificationsRequired: Valid standard driver's license (non-CDL) with a clean driving record Ability to operate a box truck safely and confidentlyStrong work ethic and reliability Good communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyAbility to pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, driving record checks)Preferred: Previous delivery driving experienceExperience in food, beverage, or dairy distribution Familiarity with local routes and navigationCompensation & Benefits:Competitive full-time pay with consistent hoursOvertime opportunities availableMedical insurance with prescription coverageSupplemental benefits including dental, vision, and life insurancePaid vacation, sick time, and holidays401(k) with company matchAbout Toft Dairy:For over 125 years, Toft Dairy has proudly served customers within approximately a 150-mile radius of our Sandusky plant.
