Non CDL Box Truck Driver / Furniture Mover

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to join our clients moving company team. This position is responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of furniture to residential and commercial customers. In addition to driving, candidates must be willing and able to perform heavy lifting and assist with loading, unloading, and moving furniture at delivery locations.

The ideal candidate must have a clean driving record, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company box truck for local and regional deliveries

• Load, transport, unload, and position furniture at customer locations
• Perform heavy lifting and team lifting of furniture and related items
• Inspect deliveries to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws

Requirements

Qualifications

• Must be 22 years of age or older

• Valid driver's license required
• Clean driving record with fewer than 3 points on MVR
• Previous box truck, delivery, moving, or furniture delivery experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate a commercial box truck
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and move heavy furniture throughout the workday
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods
• Ability to climb in and out of the truck frequently
• Ability to navigate stairs, tight spaces, and various delivery environments
• Ability to perform physically demanding work on a daily basis

This is a temp to hire position and full time benefits will be offered upon full hire status
