Nocturnist Lead Advanced Practice Clinician in Richmond, VA

Certification by American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or American Nurse Credentialing Center within one year of completion of the degree or graduation from a PA training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation. Education Qualifications Graduation from an advanced registered NP training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Join the highly skilled hospital medicine team at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia, as our nocturnist lead advanced practice clinician. The lead advanced practice clinician will work with the facility medical director and regional medical director/vice president of operations to ensure that APCs are utilized within the standards set by the state and medical staff guidelines and regulations. 

Education Qualifications

• Graduation from an advanced registered NP training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
• Certification by American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or American Nurse Credentialing Center within one year of completion of the degree or graduation from a PA training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Current certification in ACLS and PALS, as specified per medical staff requirement

Experience

• Preferred minimum of three years experience as an nurse practitioner or physician assistant in an inpatient setting
• Prefer previous leadership/management experience
• Internal candidate must be in the top quartile for metrics and documentation; external candidate must meet these goals within 90 days; be an example for other APCs in accomplishing metrics

Competitive compensation with an estimated base salary range of $76 - $86 hourly with the opportunity to earn incentives.
