Description

This full-time nocturnist advanced practice clinician opportunity offers the chance to practice in a collaborative, physician-led environment with strong specialty support, resident assistance, and a balanced 7-on/7-off schedule.

Position Highlights
  • Full-time nocturnist nurse practitioner
  • 7-on/7-off block schedule
  • Night shift: 7pm-7am
  • Dedicated on-shift call physician helps distribute admissions across the team
  • GME teaching environment with residents rotating on both day and night shifts

Practice Environment
This established hospital medicine program at Del Sol Medical Center is based within a 379-bed facility featuring a strong, team-oriented culture and robust clinical resources.

Clinical Support and Resources
  • Daily census: approximately 125 patients
  • Average HM encounters: 17-20 per clinician, supported by residents
  • Average night admissions: 8-10 per clinician (maximum volume and uncommon), with resident assistance
  • Closed 22-bed ICU staffed by dedicated intensivists
  • Full specialty support available across all service lines
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Respond to and assist with codes involving your patients
