What you'll do:In the Space Data Network (SDN) Mission Operations Center (MOC) a technician acts as a vital operator within a centralized hub, responsible for brokering user services and managing mission plans across the entire SDN-B architecture. Utilizing a hybrid on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, the technician will provision, orchestrate, and control network transport services while serving as the primary interface for processing user service requests. Their daily activities include monitoring the health, status, and performance of all ground and space assets to ensure end-to-end service performance and maintain a common operational picture for enterprise-wide situational awareness. Operating within a Government-Owned, Contractor-Operated (GOCO) framework, the technician ensures the network remains adaptable and integrated by following a Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA).
