Job Description

We are seeking a NOC Technician to monitor and support enterprise IT infrastructure and network environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with network monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, and maintaining system availability in a 24x7 Network Operations Center environment.

Responsibilities

- Monitor network, servers, applications, and infrastructure using NOC monitoring tools.

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network and system alerts.

- Respond to incidents and outages according to established procedures and SLAs.

- Perform basic network troubleshooting involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN, and connectivity issues.

- Escalate complex issues to Network Engineers, System Administrators, or other technical teams.

- Create, update, and maintain incident tickets and technical documentation.

- Perform system health checks and routine maintenance activities.

- Monitor performance, availability, and capacity of critical infrastructure.

- Participate in scheduled maintenance, deployments, and change activities.

- Communicate outages, incidents, and status updates to internal teams and stakeholders.

- Follow ITIL, incident management, and change management processes.

Required Skills

- 1 3+ years of experience in NOC, Network Operations, IT Operations, or Technical Support.

- Experience with network monitoring and alerting tools.

- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, VPN.

- Basic knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and network connectivity.

- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or other ticketing systems.

- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.

- Strong documentation and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog, Splunk, or Grafana.

- Knowledge of Cisco networking.

- Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux.

- Basic knowledge of AWS, Azure, or cloud infrastructure.

- Familiarity with ITIL and incident/change management.

- Experience supporting a 24x7 NOC environment.
