Overview
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Data Architect III with 7 - 10 years of experience and a TS/SCI Clearance to support The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC) -Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (NCMC-ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract III Mission
Responsibilities
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a data architecture to ensure the integrity, availability, and reliability of technical baselines and artifacts.
Develops and maintains data management plans and processes (e.g., data acquisition, validation, and storage; documenting data lineage and enforcing data protection protocols.
Collaborates with systems engineering, cybersecurity, and configuration management staff to ensure systems integration.
Supports establishing naming conventions, metadata structures, and access control policies.
Supports audit readiness and continuous improvement of data management practices.
Works in close Coordination EDLM/UDLM (Emergency/Urgent Depot Level Maintenance) manager

Qualifications
Education: Bachelors in IT, Cyber, CS, IS, Data Science, or SW Engineering OR equivalent DoD/Military training
Clearance: Top Secret/ SCI
Certifications: Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP certification.
Experience: 7-10 Years
Experienced in database administration, tuning, and security of large-scale, mission-critical databases.
Has expertise in backup and recovery strategies, log analysis, user account management, and incident response.
Proficient in database management systems, scripting, and automation tools.
Has strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with other technical staff in a high-security, high-availability setting.

Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $113,400.00/Yr. - USD $189,300.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
