Concept Frames (an ASSA ABLOY company) is looking for a Night Shift Operations Supervisor. This role will be based on-site at our manufacturing facility located in Newton, North Carolina.

What would you do as our Night Shift Supervisor?
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee staff and production for hollow metal manufacturing. Safety, quality and on-time performance are the key performance initiatives for this new supervision role.
You would also:
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager on daily decision-making.
- Assist in setting and achieving strategic goals and objectives for the department.
- Provide direction, training, mentoring and motivation to assist production teams to safely perform the functions of their responsibilities.
- Manage work schedules to meet production requirements.
- Ensure orders are filled efficiently and correctly, while providing on-time delivery to customers.
- Provide quality oversight for all customer orders.
- Lead and assist in developing lean initiatives for improving procedures and processes.
- Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, OSHA, safety, inventory management, state and federal regulations.
- Uphold the standards of Assa Abloy employment policies and guidelines, including the Code of Conduct.
- Attend and participate in various meetings
The Skills and Experience you need:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- (4) years previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Experience with metal forming or closely related field is preferred.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Technical skills in Lean Manufacturing techniques, Kaizen, Process Improvement, customer service, freight and distribution, capacity and manpower planning, inventory management and replenishment, and production scheduling.
- General understanding of the commercial construction industry.
- Leadership ability, excellent interpersonal skills, and the proven ability to develop relationships and influence all levels within the organization.
- Demonstrated presentation, oral, and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally.
