    Job Overview

    The Distribution Center Associate III is responsible for performing vital tasks within the distribution center. Auditing, validating data and or inventory values, cycle counting, reconciliation, inbound scheduling, and running end-of-day processes within the job scope. Operating powered equipment including but not limited to a reach-truck and or a stock selector are primary power equipment used. Other duties could include receiving, stocking, shipping, order fulfillment, and general housekeeping. All associates are responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by following all safety policies and standards and completing specified safety training.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Ensure product is accurately selected and damage free by conducting outbound audits.
    • Investigate inventory discrepancies, receiving errors, and adjustments to inventory to determine root cause and provide recommendations to department supervisor or manager.
    • Detail-oriented, willing to take initiative to ensure compliance.
    • Schedule inbound shipments and coordinate daily inventory receipts
    • Follow all distribution center standard operating procedures (SOP).
    • Operate and use multiple applications (AS400, Lucas, and internal tools) within the Distribution Center to support inventory integrity, E-Commerce platform, inbound scheduling, and order allocation.
    • Assist with physical inventories and other inventory related items.
    • Ensure work area remains clean and safe, while following all safety practices.
    • Consistent use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safe lifting techniques.
    • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time as needed.
    • Obtain internal Material Handling Equipment certification for powered equipment within the first five days on the job.
    • Safely and efficiently operate one or all MHE equipment types which includes but not limited to, order, selector, forklift, reach truck, and electric pallet jack (EPJ).
