Description

Title: Night Shift Patrol Officer

Position Summary:
As a Night Shift Residential Patrol Officer with Signal of Nevada, you will perform foot and vehicle patrols of residential and commercial areas including courtyards, offices, pools, and other high-value locations. Your primary focus will be to secure all access points and protect property and residents by adhering to site-specific Post Orders. This role requires keen attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and professional conduct throughout your shift.

Location: South Reno, NV


Patrol Officer:

Schedule: 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM, 4 nights a week.
Employment Type: Hourly, Night Shift
Pay Rate: $19 - $20 per hour, based on experience

*Must have active PILB Work Card, be 21+ to operate company vehicle, and have an active driver's license.

Dedicated Officer:

Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, rotating schedule, 4 days/3 days each week.
Employment Type: Hourly, Night Shift
Pay Rate: $19 - $20 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mobile and foot patrols in accordance with site-specific instructions and company Post Orders.
- Operate and maintain assigned company vehicle, including fueling, cleaning, and performing routine inspections.
- Document all activities and incidents by writing detailed, accurate reports using company technology during each shift.
- Maintain punctuality, follow dress code and appearance standards, and comply with all company policies.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service while interacting with clients, residents, and team members.
- Communicate proactively with Advanced Patrol Officers and Branch Patrol Supervisors concerning any concerns or observations.
- Care for and maintain all assigned Signal equipment such as radios, keys, uniforms, and devices.
- Efficiently manage daily patrol duties while meeting quality and reporting standards.
- Apply de-escalation techniques to handle incidents promptly and professionally.
- Participate in daily briefings, sharing updates on route changes, client needs, and Post Orders.

Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Nevada PILB work card required prior to employment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from work locations.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
- Completion of required training modules within the first month of employment.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
- Willingness to work holidays if scheduled.
