THE ROLE

As the Night Shift Forklift Operator, you keep inventory accurate and the warehouse running clean through the overnight hours. You consolidate bin locations, count and verify inventory, organize pallets, and move product exactly where it needs to be, using a mix of forklifts built for different jobs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Consolidate inventory and combine bin locations
  • Perform inventory counts and verify accuracy
  • Remove and organize empty pallets
  • Clean and organize storage racks and warehouse areas
  • Re-palletize loose, mixed, or unstable pallets as freight arrives
  • Receive, put away, and stock inventory
  • Move products to the correct warehouse locations
  • Perform bin and location transfers and update inventory records
  • Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and running efficiently
  • Follow every warehouse safety and forklift operating procedure

WHAT IT TAKES

  • Experience operating multiple types of forklifts, detailed below
  • Sharp attention to detail and a steady, safety first mindset
  • Comfortable working independently through the overnight shift
  • Able to lift, bend, and move product throughout the shift

FORKLIFT REQUIREMENTS

Cherry Picker / Order Picker Forklift

  • Bin consolidation
  • Inventory counting
  • Warehouse organization

Reach Forklift

  • Inbound receiving
  • Put away
  • Bin and location transfers

Sit Down Forklift

  • Flooring organization
  • Inbound receiving
  • Put away

SCHEDULE & FLEXIBILITY

Night shift, 4:00 in the afternoon to 12:30 in the morning, Monday through Friday.

COMPENSATION

Starting pay is $18.50 an hour.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

You will be moving between forklifts and foot work across an active warehouse floor throughout the night.
