Engraving & Sticker Operator
Pay: $22.00–$26.00 per hour
Monday - Saturday 3:30pm - 12am (midnight)
Must be able to work the weekends of Christmas and New Year's weeks)
Position Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented Engraving & Sticker Operators to run multiple pieces of production equipment used to personalize gift items and apply custom stickers. This hands-on role involves operating a laser engraver, cutting custom stickers, and applying stickers to finished products.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with computers, switching between multiple machines, and balancing production priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality. Previous experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a commercial laser engraver to personalize products with logos, names, and custom designs.
- Prepare products for engraving and ensure proper positioning, placement, and finished appearance.
- Operate a Graphtec CE8000 sticker cutter to cut custom sticker designs.
- Run a sticker applicator to accurately apply stickers to designated products.
- Switch between three pieces of equipment throughout the shift to maintain production flow.
- Prioritize orders based on due dates, with older and expedited orders handled first.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, consistency, placement, and overall quality.
- Identify and address quality issues as needed.
- Clean equipment and maintain an organized, safe work area.
- Monitor machine performance and promptly report equipment issues or maintenance needs.
- Follow established production procedures and meet daily order deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with laser engraving, vinyl or sticker cutting, print finishing, or similar production equipment is preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including navigating software, opening files, and following setup instructions.
- Ability to learn and operate multiple machines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize orders and transition between tasks without sacrificing accuracy.
- Safety-conscious, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
Schedule & Compensation
- Pay Range: $22.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Training: Available for candidates with the right aptitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
