Note: All staff are hired by Milford School District rather than a specific building. Final placement is subject to change based on district staffing needs.
Position summary: Custodial team members support their assigned building and Milford School District by maintaining clean, safe, and functional school facilities. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, with prior custodial, housekeeping, or maintenance experience preferred. This role requires the ability to perform daily physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders up to 15 feet, and completing routine cleaning such as scrubbing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal. Team members assist with minor maintenance repairs, equipment troubleshooting, furniture movement, and setup for special events. Custodians work collaboratively as part of a districtwide team, communicate professionally, and respond to needs across buildings as directed by the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds, including seasonal duties such as snow removal.

Terms of Employment: Twelve-month (12) full-time employee

Evaluation: Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board's policy on evaluation of professional personnel.
