Position Summary

The Night Crew Supervisor is responsible for leading overnight stocking operations to ensure the store is fully stocked, faced, and ready for the next business day. This role oversees the night crew, ensures efficient truck breakdown and merchandising, and maintains a clean, safe, and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities Overnight Operations

  • Supervise all night crew activities including stocking, facing, and organizing merchandise
  • Oversee unloading and breakdown of deliveries to ensure timely completion
  • Ensure shelves, displays, and endcaps are fully stocked and presentation-ready
  • Prepare the store for opening, ensuring high standards of readiness

Team Leadership & Development

  • Assign tasks and direct workflow based on delivery volume and store priorities
  • Train, coach, and support night crew associates
  • Monitor productivity and hold team accountable to performance expectations
  • Promote a safe, efficient, and team-oriented work environment

Merchandising & Stocking

  • Ensure proper product placement according to planograms and store standards
  • Maintain accurate product rotation (FIFO) to reduce shrink
  • Identify and communicate out-of-stocks and inventory needs
  • Ensure backstock is organized and accessible

Backroom & Safety

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized backroom and sales floor
  • Ensure proper use of equipment and adherence to safety guidelines
  • Follow all company policies, including safety and loss prevention

Operational Support

  • Assist with inventory counts, audits, and store initiatives
  • Communicate issues and progress to store leadership
  • Support ad sets, seasonal transitions, and promotional execution

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous stocking or retail experience required
  • Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and reaching
  • Ability to work overnight shifts and in varying store temperatures

Work Environment

  • Overnight retail environment with minimal customer interaction
  • Fast-paced setting with strict timelines for store readiness
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
