What Youll Do
- Provide high-quality neonatal intensive care to critically ill infants in a Level III NICU
- Administer medications, including high-alert drugs, and manage ventilators and respiratory support
- Monitor and respond to patient needs using electronic health records, including Epic
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain readiness for emergencies and advanced neonatal procedures
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and safety protocols
- Educate and support families of neonatal patients while fostering a compassionate environment
What You Need
- Required:
- Active RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
- 2+ years NICU experience, including vent management, central lines, and high alert medications
- Epic EMR experience
- Certifications: NRP, BLS, STABLE
- Preferred:
- Experience in a Level III Neonatal ICU setting
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
