What Youll Do
- Deliver specialized care to neonates, including those under 24 weeks, managing respiratory, cardiovascular, and infectious conditions
- Administer medications using Pyxis medication system, including IV vasopressors and surfactants
- Monitor and manage ventilator settings and respiratory support including AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP
- Perform procedures such as arterial line management, central line care, and care for neonatal abstinence syndrome
- Document care accurately in the EPIC system
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and families using SBAR method
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including NP, pharmacy, radiology, and respiratory therapists
What You Need
Required:- Valid Ohio RN license
- BLS and NRP certification
- NICU Level III/IV experience
- Competency in cardiovascular dysrhythmia interpretation and gastrointestinal feeding management
- Ability to perform advanced neonatal procedures and infection control practices
Preferred:- Previous experience at Nationwide Childrens Hospital
