The NIAR CAD/CAM lab is looking for a Business Analytics student assistant.

Job Summary

A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.

Job Duties

Provide daily administrative and operational support to the Project Manager and program management team. This role focuses on executing routine tasks, maintaining project records, and coordinating logistics to ensure smooth project operations under the direction of project leadership. Essential Functions Project Support: Assists the Project Manager in tracking task timelines, action items, and upcoming milestone deadlines. Documentation & Records: Prepares and distributes meeting agendas, takes detailed meeting minutes, and organizes digital project files and documentation. Administrative Logistics: Coordinates team calendars, schedules meetings, and processes travel authorizations, expense reports, or purchasing requests. Data Entry & Tracking: Enters and updates project tracking data, task updates, and spreadsheet metrics as directed by the team.

Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Products.

Have great attention to detail.

Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.

Able to work 20+ hours per week.

Ability to work independently on extensive task.

Physical Requirements

Ability to remain in a stationary position.

Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators.

Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
