Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a New Model Program Launch Engineer for a Contract with a client in Avon Lake, OH. You will drive the successful launch of new vehicle and powertrain programs by managing pre-production builds, issue resolution, and cross-functional program activities.
Rate Range: $32/Hour to $35/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
New Model Program Launch Engineer Responsibilities include:
Lead and coordinate new vehicle and powertrain program launches, ensuring adherence to timing, quality, and program objectives.
Manage pre-production build events, including issue tracking, resolution, and cross-functional team collaboration.
Oversee vehicle fleet activities, including ordering, testing, evaluation, and disposition of pre-production vehicles.
Drive engineering change and issue management processes to ensure launch readiness and risk mitigation.
Prepare and present program status reports, launch assessments, and key updates to senior leadership.
Execute launch budget activities while supporting seamless integration of launch teams into manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
Minimum 1+ year of experience in vehicle/powertrain operations, manufacturing, design, or program management; launch experience preferred.
Proven program management skills with the ability to track, prioritize, and drive resolution of issues across cross-functional teams.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.

Pay Details: $32.00 to $35.00 per hour
