Our client, a leader in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, is seeking a New Grad Mechanical Technician to join their team. As a vital part of the technical support department, you will support the installation and maintenance of cutting-edge lithography equipment, contributing to the advancement of technology and innovation. This job is in North Phoenix and you must be within commutable distance to be considered.
Job Title: New Grad Mechanical Technician
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay Range:$50,000 - $60,000 DOE plus OT, benefits
What's the Job?
Perform installation, assembly, and commissioning of advanced lithography systems at semiconductor manufacturing facilities
Conduct system testing, calibration, and qualification procedures to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues during installation and operation
Collaborate closely with customer engineers and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution
Maintain detailed documentation and reports related to installation and maintenance activities
What's Needed?
0–2 years of experience in mechanical installation, maintenance, or field service (new grads are invited to apply - high school or Associate's degrees with mechanical and hand tool aptitude - even just working on cars or in a shop at home - and a love of manufacturing)
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals is desired but not required
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and most important, a good attitude and willingness to learn!
Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is preferred in a mechanical type skill set (e.g. automotive, semiconductor, machining, etc.)
