Role Overview:

New Construction Plumbing Apprentice

 

Are you ready to launch a high-demand, hands-on career in the trades?

At Greenwell Plumbing, Heating and Air, we’re looking for motivated individuals who want to build a future in Plumbing as an Apprentice—and we’ll help you every step of the way.

 

Pay: $17-$20, hourly

Location: New Albany, IN

 

Under the direct supervision of a Licensed Plumber, you will:

  • Complete residential or commercial New Construction Groundwork, rough ins, finish work, etc.
  • Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.
  • Be accurate and timely with invoices, timecards, and option sheets.
  • Communicate professionally with teammates and customers.
  • Follow safety guidelines and company procedures.
  • Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings and retreats.

Role requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
  • A strong desire to build a long-term career in the skilled trades
  • Willingness to learn, work hard, and show up with a positive attitude

Preferred requirements:

  • 6 months of plumbing experience
  • Recent Graduate of a plumbing trade program

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
