    Location: Atlanta Hybrid 
    Contract- 3 Years
    Client- Southern Company 

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a results-driven New Business Analyst II with 5–10 years of experience to identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic growth opportunities.

    This role focuses on market research, financial analysis, client engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to expand market presence and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and a proven track record in business development or strategic consulting.

    Key Responsibilities

    Market Research & Competitive Analysis

    • Conduct in-depth market research to identify:
      • New business opportunities
      • Industry trends
      • Competitive positioning
    • Analyze market data to support strategic decisions.

    Strategic Planning

    • Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives.
    • Identify new revenue streams and expansion opportunities.
    • Support long-term business planning and roadmap development.

    Client & Partner Engagement

    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
    • Identify and engage potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Represent the organization in discussions and negotiations.

    Business Development & Lead Generation

    • Identify and evaluate new business prospects, partnerships, and potential collaborations.
    • Generate leads through networking, prospecting, and outreach initiatives.
    • Explore M&A opportunities when applicable.

    Proposal & Presentation Development

    • Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pitch materials.
    • Present strategic recommendations to leadership and external stakeholders.

    Financial & Risk Analysis

    • Conduct financial analysis to assess profitability and ROI of new initiatives.
    • Evaluate risk and business impact of potential ventures.

    Negotiation & Contracting

    • Negotiate contracts and partnership agreements.
    • Ensure mutually beneficial terms and strategic alignment.

    Project & Initiative Management

    • Oversee implementation of approved business initiatives.
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful launch and execution.

    Reporting & Performance Tracking

    • Track key metrics related to business development efforts.
    • Provide reporting and recommendations to leadership.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in:
      • Business
      • Marketing
      • Finance
      • Related field
    • 5–10 years of experience in:
      • Business development
      • Strategic consulting
      • Growth strategy roles
    • Proven track record of identifying and closing new business opportunities.
    • Strong financial analysis and business modeling skills.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
    • Experience using CRM and market research tools.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • MBA or advanced degree.
    • Experience in regulated or enterprise environments.
    • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions initiatives.
