    This branch-based team supports both consumer and business banking customers with account servicing, transaction processing, problem resolution, and financial product support. The environment is highly customer-facing and requires professionals who can balance service, operational accuracy, regulatory compliance, and appropriate identification of additional banking needs.

    What's In Store For You

    • Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099).
    • Full-time schedule of approximately 40 hours per week.
    • Onsite opportunity in Brea, California.
    • Exposure to consumer and commercial branch banking operations, including new accounts, teller transactions, audit support, customer service, and financial products.
    • Opportunity to serve as an experienced branch resource while providing guidance to other branch service representatives.

    How You Will Make An Impact

    • Open and service consumer and business deposit accounts, including checking, savings, certificates of deposit, IRAs, and other account types.
    • Interview customers, verify identification and required documentation, review references or account-opening requirements, and accurately establish new accounts.
    • Process account maintenance, account changes, transfers, and related servicing requests.
    • Operate a teller drawer and accurately process deposits, withdrawals, night-drop items, courier transactions, mail transactions, and other branch activity.
    • Resolve customer questions, transaction discrepancies, and account servicing issues within established authority.
    • Identify appropriate opportunities to introduce customers to additional banking products and services.
    • Support branch operational controls, daily certifications, reporting, documentation, callbacks, recordkeeping, and audit-related activities.
    • Follow applicable banking regulations, internal operational policies, security procedures, dual-control requirements, and teller standards.
    • Provide day-to-day guidance to less-experienced branch service staff and communicate training or service concerns to branch leadership.

    Do You Bring Proven Success in New Accounts and Branch Banking Operations?

    • 3+ years of new accounts, branch operations, financial-services sales, or related banking customer-service experience.
    • Strong hands-on knowledge of opening and servicing consumer and business deposit accounts.
    • Experience handling documentation for more complex account ownership structures, such as fiduciary and corporate accounts.
    • Working knowledge of retail and commercial banking products, terminology, operating procedures, and applicable banking regulations.
    • Teller experience with the ability to accurately count and balance currency, coin, and negotiable instruments.
    • Ability to calculate account balances and interest and identify routine transaction or mathematical discrepancies.
    • Comfortable using account-opening systems, banking platforms, spreadsheets, word-processing applications, and other branch technology.
    • Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills, including the ability to resolve challenging or non-standard customer situations.
    • Effective organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently under general supervision.
    • Associate degree in Business or comparable professional experience.
