This 186-bed facility operates a 24-hour emergency department and functions as a Level III Trauma Center and primary stroke center. The institution maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support on-site neurosurgical coverage across inpatient and clinic settings. Medical assistant support is available to assist the physician associate throughout all assigned coverage periods.

The region features natural landscapes, scenic byways, and hot springs, as well as activities such as hiking, camping, whitewater rafting, cycling, fishing, and watersports. Water-based recreational opportunities, including sailing, kayaking, and paddleboarding, are available at various reservoirs and lakes across the state, alongside a culinary scene reflective of the region‘s western heritage.

The physician associate will provide day shift neurosurgical coverage across inpatient and clinic settings at an on-site facility in Colorado. Clinical responsibilities include performing inpatient surgeries, managing neurosurgery post-op outpatient appointments, handling inbasket management, and assisting in the OR. No call coverage is required for this assignment.
