What You’ll Do
- Conduct inpatient neurosurgery rounds alongside residents and nursing staff
- Review patient charts and develop care plans
- Manage orders and coordinate discharges efficiently
- Remove drains (hemovac/J-p drains) as needed
- Provide patient care in a well-supported hospital environment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and standards
What You Need
Required:- Active MA State Nurse Practitioner license
- Board Certification in Neurosurgery
- At least 1 year of neuro-specific nurse practitioner experience
- Ability to perform drain removal and patient assessments
Preferred:- Experience working in a hospital inpatient setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
