Description Specialization: Neurosurgery Job Summary: We are seeking a Board-Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our growing Neurosurgery team at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. This is an inpatient-only position providing comprehensive care to neurosurgical patients alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. New graduates are encouraged to apply. We welcome motivated ACNP graduates with strong inpatient clinical training and a passion for neurosurgery. Position Highlights Inpatient-only Neurosurgery practice 7-on/7-off schedule No call responsibilities Join a collaborative team of two Advanced Practice Providers supporting inpatient neurosurgical care Opportunity to work closely with experienced neurosurgeons, trauma team Responsibilities Perform inpatient rounding and management of neurosurgical patients Conduct consultations, admissions, and daily patient assessments Provide follow-up care for established and postoperative patients Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement treatment plans Assist with patient education and discharge planning No operative time or first assist experience required Incentives/Benefits Package: In addition to unmatched potential for flexibility and career growth and a competitive salary with incentives, a comprehensive benefits program is available for full-time colleagues.
