    Job Description:

    A full-time opportunity is available for a Spine-Focused Neurosurgeon to join a high-volume, multidisciplinary neuroscience program within a Level II Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center. This role offers a primarily spine-focused practice (approximately 80 90%) with a smaller component of cranial cases. Physicians will work within a collaborative environment alongside neurosurgeons, neurologists, neurointerventional specialists, and advanced practice providers, supported by robust clinical resources and a strong regional referral network.

    Shift / Schedule:

    • Full-time position
    • Balanced schedule supporting clinical practice and work-life integration
    • Dedicated OR block time for surgical efficiency

    Responsibilities:

    • Diagnose and treat a wide range of neurosurgical conditions with a focus on spine pathology
    • Perform complex spine surgeries and selected cranial procedures
    • Manage patients with neurotrauma, spinal disorders, brain tumors, and cerebrovascular conditions
    • Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary neuroscience team including neurologists, neurohospitalists, and neuroradiologists
    • Participate in clinical conferences, quality initiatives, and teaching activities
    • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
    • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered neurosurgical care

    Requirements:

    • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
    • Completion of an accredited Neurosurgery Residency Program
    • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurological Surgery
    • Fellowship training in spine neurosurgery preferred but not required
    • Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
    • DEA certification
    • Strong clinical and surgical skills with focus on spine procedures
