    Description

    Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a BC or BE Neurosurgeon to join the Department of Neurosurgery in College Station, Texas. The position involves the practice of general neurosurgery including spinal and intracranial surgery. An interest in complex spine surgery is desirable.

    Position Highlights:

    • Join an established group of four neurosurgeons with tenures between 14-20 years.

    • Call expectations are approximately 1:4.

    • Physician Assistants are an integral part of the practice.

    • We offer a competitive salary with a generous benefit package that begins with five (5) weeks of vacation, an additional three (3) weeks CME, and immediate access to health insurance, employer-contributed retirement savings, relocation assistance, and much more.

    Our College Station hospital is equipped with 142 beds, a Level III Trauma Center and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This facility has achieved The American Nurses Credentialing Center's Magnet Designation.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
    • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
    • Board certified or board eligible in their specialty by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
    • Completion of an accredited ACGME Neurosurgery Residency
