    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team of Neurosurgeons and advanced practice providers in providing exceptional care to the Coachella Valley community at an exciting Level 1 trauma center in beautiful Palm Springs California. We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to assist in the management of inpatient consults, as well as provide support in the outpatient clinic setting.

    Position Details:

    • Shifts: 4 shifts per week, each 10 hours. Rotating weekends
    • Inpatient Consults: Assist with the evaluation and management of inpatient neurosurgery consults.
    • Assist with elective and emergent surgery.
    • Clinic: APP provides care of post op and elective patients in the outpatient clinic.
    • Overtime: Ample opportunity for additional hours and overtime.

    • Work alongside 2 full-time neurosurgeons, 2 part-time neurosurgeons, and 3 advanced practice providers in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

    Qualifications:

    • Current certification as a Physician Assistant (NP/PA) with experience in neurosurgery or a related field preferred.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.
    • Strong communication skills and commitment to high-quality patient care.
    • Physician Assistant license to practice in the state. CPR Certified. DEA registration with state.
