Clinicians on assignment will find accessible outdoor and cultural activities throughout the region, along with broader state attractions such as the North Carolina Arboretum and natural areas suited to recreation and exploration.
About the Clinician‘s WorkdayClinicians will provide inpatient-only coverage for the Neuroscience ICU service, working day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with no call or ER backup required. Clinical responsibilities include ICU-level care management, code response, and performing procedures such as arterial line and central line placement, lumbar punctures, and ventilator management. Clinicians will manage an average of 4 patients per day within a total inpatient census of 20 and an average of 2 admissions per day, utilizing EPIC EMR for all clinical documentation. A minimum of one year of experience is required, and current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association are mandatory; Acute Care Certification is also required.
