Network Systems Developer

Position : Network Systems Developer / Engineer

Location : San Jose, CA or RTP, NC

Contract - 12+ Months

Job Description:

• Experience in networking, systems software, and virtualization.

• Strong knowledge of Linux internals, system boot, systemd, networking, and performance troubleshooting.

• Hands-on experience with KVM, QEMU, libvirt, virtual networking, and virtual NICs.

• Solid understanding of networking technologies, including:- Ipv4

• NICS, Linux bridges, bonding, VLAN and routing

• DHCP, DNS, and firewalling

• SR-IOV, PCI passthrough, DPDK, and Open vSwitch (OVS)

• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.

• Familiarity with REST/RESTCONF APIs, NETCONF/YANG

• Experience managing Linux services, RPM-based distributions and Packaging.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues using logs, core dumps, packet captures, traces

• Deep understanding of Kernel Boot loader/ Boot order (UEFI , intramfs)

• Deep understanding on identifying memory leak, etc
