Network / System Engineer - Hybrid: Plano, TX - Contract - W2/C2C - $51.26-$73.24 Per HR

This position offers a hybrid work environment in the Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX area. As a Network/System Engineer, you will be responsible for network automation and systems administration tasks. The role requires expertise in scripting and automation, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and providing technical leadership. Proficiency in generic technology names is essential.

Description

• Work in a hybrid setup, spending a minimum of three days onsite per week.
• Engage in network automation and systems administration tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers and developers.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and architects.
• Document technical processes and systems configurations.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
• Implement network configuration and management automation strategies.
• Lead architectural discussions and decision-making processes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a senior-level network engineering role.
• Strong background in enterprise-level network solutions design and implementation.
• Proficiency in network protocols and scripting languages.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
