Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Network / System Engineer III. This role involves managing projects related to infrastructure provisioning, security projects, data center migrations, and End of Life Programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical project management and be able to lead meetings and communicate technical details effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5 years of work experience, including 3 years in Technical Project Management roles.
  • Experience in supporting large enterprises.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure technologies (physical server hosting, virtual machine hosting, storage, network, database, middleware, network traffic management, Network DMZ).
  • Background in cloud, virtualization, bare metal environments. Jira software experience.
  • Understand technical concepts like DNS, Active Directory, NAS, Firewall, Proxy, SMTP.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • System Administrator background preferred.
  • Scrum background preferred.
  • Strong project and process leader.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and strong work ethic.
  • Strong Linux background strongly preferred.
  • Strong background in networks, storage, hardware, data center.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Manage projects related to infrastructure provisioning, security projects, data center migrations, and End of Life Programs.
  • Lead meetings and communicate technical details related to projects.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment whilst meeting deadlines.
  • Build trusted relationships with the business and technology teams.
  • Analyze and communicate capacity management related tasks.
  • Communicate standards and best practices to Lines of Businesses.
  • Work with System Administrator teams to help ensure servers standards are being met.
  • Coordinate in Linux virtual and physical builds, upgrades, patching, and support.
