Introduction

The APSE Production Services team is responsible for providing end-to-end client-facing business-aligned infrastructure engagements, design, plan, build, delivery operations, and data management support. We’re looking for an experienced IT Security professional with hands-on expertise in SIEM/SOAR to join our team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on expertise in SIEM/SOAR administration and security operations.
• 10 years of hands-on experience within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) space.
• Expert level experience in Windows OS, RedHat Linux, SQL queries, SQL/Oracle, and other database flavors.
• Well-versed with RedHat Linux OpenShift containers, Atlassian JIRA Horizon platforms, GitHub, Ansible, Jenkins, ITSM Remedy, Splunk, Dynatrace, PowerShell/Unix scripting, cloud experience, and other CI/CD DevOps tools.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, threat detection, and incident response.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• CISSP or other equivalent Information Security domain certificates.
• Strong understanding of network technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Splunk (searches, dashboards, alerts, playbooks).
• Experience with Tower, BladeLogic.
• Excellent communication skills, both lateral and vertical, with the ability to clearly explain issues, their impact, and how to address them.
• Must be available for on-call coverage and willing to work off-hours as needed.
• Must be able to work on-site 3 days a week as per current bank policies.
• Must be able to comply with bank regulatory and compliance policies.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and optimize SIEM/SOAR platforms (primarily Splunk).
• Develop detection rules, dashboards, and automation playbooks.
• Monitor and analyze security events to identify threats and reduce response times.
• Deliver services to internal customers to facilitate business continuity with a meet or exceed SLAs.
• Engage in incident response, problem triage, service restoration, identification of root cause, and facilitation and coordination for a permanent fix.
