Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled Network/System Engineer II to join our team. This role involves managing Unix OS and hardware, conducting new product research related to fault monitoring, and building self-healing automation systems. The position requires working on-site three days a week in a hybrid setting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IBM Netcool Operations Insight AIOPS platform
- Experience in deploying Netcool Omnibus, Netcool Impact, Network Manager, Probes, Gateways, Cognos Analytics in high-availability environments
- Strong knowledge of system and networking concepts
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, Shell, JavaScript
- Experience in developing probe custom rules and integrating with 3rd party systems
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage Unix OS and hardware with various operating systems
- Build, test, and maintain Network Fault Monitoring systems
- Lead disaster recovery exercises for various network tools
- Provide break-fix support for network toolset
