We are seeking an experienced Network Technician – Intermediate to support network operations and infrastructure improvements. This role will augment the existing IT team during a period of remediation and network enhancement initiatives.
The position is hands-on, field-based, and requires strong troubleshooting skills across wired and wireless network environments.

· Candidate Residency Requirement:
o Must be a current South Carolina resident
o No relocation allowed
· Driver’s License Requirement:
o Valid driver’s license required
o Must be able to drive a state vehicle to multiple locations within South Carolina
· Travel:
o Travel is statewide but will not exceed one business day unless scheduled in advance
· On-Call Requirement:
o Participation in on-call rotation every 3 weeks to respond to critical network outages
· Provide network support and troubleshooting for wired and wireless environments
· Support Microsoft-based network and identity systems
· Assist with network remediation and infrastructure improvements
· Respond to service tickets and provide customer-facing technical support
· Travel to multiple locations within the state as needed
· Participate in on-call rotation to address critical network issues
· Support daily operations in Windows Server and enterprise networking environments
· 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID
· 5+ years of experience with Microsoft administration
· 5+ years of experience in Windows Server environments
· 5+ years of experience in customer service
· 10+ years of experience in network troubleshooting (wired and wireless)
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
· Experience working with wiring closets
· Experience with Ruckus switches
· Experience using Deskpro ticketing systems
· Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
