    MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Specialist to join our Air Force / Space team at Eglin AFB. The Network Specialist's primary function is to support the United States Air Force's 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Researching and developing solutions to issues that arise as part of daily operations.
    • Assisting with developing new solutions to keep the network evolving and forward looking.
    • Provide Tier 2 and 3 supports for network testing and operations.
    • Managing network local test environment including, routers, switches, firewalls, servers, CUCM, and VOIP phones.
    • Creating documentation and diagrams for all projects as well as changes made to the network.
    • Working in a Hyper-V environment to help maintain servers related to network management.
    • Working with datacenter network technology including Nexus switches and vPC.
    • Maintaining and developing changes involving firewalls, routers, switches, TACLANES, Solarwinds, GEM One, and Hyper-V.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university. 2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
    • 2+ years direct/related experience.
    • Active / valid DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II or higher certification.
    • Working knowledge of CISCO network and switching and virtualization technologies.
    • Working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies and data backup technologies.
    • Working knowledge communication security (COMSEC) policies and integration.
    • Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework, Common Criteria, and System Security Policy as they relate to assessments and authorization.
    • Working knowledge and current relevant experience with PL2 and PL3 network environments/systems.
    • Must be familiar with DoD policy as it applies to implementing and executing system and network administration.

    Clearance Requirements:

    • Must have a current/active Top-Secret clearance .
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI-eligible clearance (i.e. DCID 6/4 eligibility).
    • Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
    • Willingness to submit to a Polygraph.

    Physical Requirements:

    • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
