    Required Technical Skillset

The role is built around three core technology pillars.

    1. Routing (Foundational – Required)

    • Deep, hands-on expertise in BGP and OSPF (used together in this environment)

    • Manage SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle across load balancing platforms

    • Support change implementation during defined change windows (typically starting at 10 PM)

    • Collaborate with a global support model, coordinating handoffs with the India-based team for changes falling outside US working hours (generally after midnight)

    • Partner with cross-functional teams, architects, and business stakeholders to align infrastructure work with business needs

    • Apply automation and scripting where possible to reduce manual intervention

    • Maintain security best practices across firewall and network configurations

    Ideal Candidate Profile

    • Prior experience supporting a customer-facing, production banking or financial services environment

    • Comfortable working within an incident-response/on-call-adjacent model with late-evening change windows

    • Able to work independently and communicate effectively with global (US/India/UK) team members

    • Strong troubleshooting instincts – able to "figure things out on the spot" under production pressure
