Network Security Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in network security engineering to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in securing cloud environments and a deep understanding of modern security technologies and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure networking solutions in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle Cloud Platform.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and automate engineering tasks.
• Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to manage and secure cloud infrastructures.
• Monitor network security, integrate SIEM tools, and manage network telemetry.
• Implement and manage enterprise network security technologies, including firewalls, secure gateways, and network segmentation.
• Design secure SaaS environments and ensure safe integrations and connectivity.
• Integrate SaaS platforms with enterprise identity providers using SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
• Support large-scale enterprise cloud migrations with a focus on security.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in Network Security, Cloud Security, or Infrastructure Security engineering.

Required Skills:

• Experience in designing and securing networking in cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native networking and security concepts.
• Familiarity with security monitoring and enterprise network security technologies.
• Experience with SaaS security solutions and secure access practices.
• Experience in integrating SaaS platforms with identity providers.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Azure Network Engineer Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or CCNP Security.
