Title: Network L3 Admin - Network Routing & Switching

Locations: Hybrid: New York (3 days a week from office)
Duration: 6+ Months with Possible Extension.
Pay Range: $50 -$58/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)

 
Role overview:
  • The successful candidate would have a deep understanding and hands on experience of Cisco’s or other vendor’ similar product on SD-Access (SDA) and 802.1x or NAC (Network Admission Control) and TrustSec related functionality.
  • Skills: Ansible, Network Operations, Network Routing (WAN Technology) & Network Switching(LAN Technology)
  • Experience Required: 8-10
 
Technical/Functional Skills
  • Networking (Routing and Switching), SD Access
  • Excellent Knowledge of Network protocols BGP, OSPF, Spanning Tree protocol, Multicast
  • Design and troubleshoot Cisco, Arista Network platforms and protocols
  • IP Routing Platforms: ISR, ASR1K, ASR9K, Catalyst 9K, Nexus9K
  • Multicast: IGMPv2/v3, PIM, Static RP, RP-Anycast
  • Overlay technologies like IPSEC, DMVPN, VXLAN, SDWAN, SDA, MACSEC
  • Cabling and optics 10/25G/40G/50G/100G – Break out cables, break out panels.
  • Ansible knowledge a huge plus
  • Client knowledge a plus
  • Experience Required
  • Minimum 10 yrs of relevant experience in enterprise network environment/customers
  • Strong in Routing & Switching. Proficiency in routing protocols
  • In depth experience in SD Access deployment, DNAC, VxLAN are mandatory
  • Experience in IoT Deployment, IoT communication protocols,
  • Troubleshoot overall networking and network connectivity to IoT devices/sensors
  • Knowledge on Cisco Client, TACACS, DNS/DHCP Functioning are important
  • Cisco certification- CCIE Lab certification is mandatory
 
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Senior in Network engineering. More than 10+ years' experience.
  • Candidate’s focus will be developing lab framework to connect IOT end points to Campus/branch networks and certify the underlying hardware, software features and end point functionality.
  • Candidate would be required to identify various communication scenarios between end and edge devices and create and execute and/ or oversee the testing of data gathering, aggregation, and analytics capabilities.
  • Related to these are being well versed in Cisco IOS-XE products, Micro/Macro Segmentation configurations, Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) as it is the management GUI / controller for SD-Access and its automation.
  • Candidate will be collaborating with different teams, strong network engineers, and higher management in his day-to-day activities. It is imperative that he/ she has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Co-ordination with various stakeholders is required. On time report preparation/submission. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
