Taurean Consulting Group is looking for a Network Engineering Manager to join a premier hospitality and entertainment organization in Las Vegas.
We're looking for a technical leader who knows wireless networking but also knows how to lead people.
This isn't a role where you'll simply manage projects and sit in meetings. You'll lead an experienced network engineering team supporting a fast-moving convention and expo environment where network requirements can change from one event to the next. The right person will bring strong wireless engineering knowledge, previous technical leadership experience, and the confidence to work directly with customers and senior business leaders.
What You'll Do
Lead and manage a team of network engineers while remaining technically engaged in day-to-day operations.
Provide technical direction across wireless networking, RF design, troubleshooting, routing, and switching.
Support a dynamic convention environment where network requirements frequently change as events move in and out.
Review technical solutions, guide engineering decisions, and hold the team accountable for execution.
Partner with customers, business leaders, and executives to communicate technical solutions and resolve network challenges.
What We're Looking For
2–3+ years of experience managing or leading network engineers, including coaching, workload management, and performance accountability.
Strong hands-on wireless networking and engineering experience, including RF design and high-density Wi-Fi environments.
Experience with Aruba wireless preferred; strong Cisco, Ruckus, or comparable enterprise wireless experience considered.
Strong networking fundamentals across routing, switching, VRF, wireless troubleshooting, and network design.
Strong customer-facing and executive communication skills, with the ability to lead technical conversations with engineers and senior leadership.
