We are looking for a hands-on Cloud Network and On-prem Engineer. The position will be part of the Enterprise Network Triage and Troubleshooting Team (NTT), which is responsible for triaging and troubleshooting high-severity issues impacting internal systems and external customers.
The issues range from network device outages to application slowness, connectivity problems, storage issues, network interruptions, and more.
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of fundamental networking technologies, network security, software-defined networking (SDN), infrastructure as code (IaC), and extensive experience with at least one cloud service provider (CSP).
The Network Triage and Troubleshooting Team operates with the philosophy of identifying and mitigating issues as quickly as possible to provide the best customer experience. The Team
The Enterprise Network Triage and Troubleshooting (NTT) Team's mission is to identify, mitigate, or resolve any issues impacting internal or external business operations. The work delivered by this team helps ensure industry-leading reliability, security, and uptime across the enterprise infrastructure.
Required Expertise and Skills
10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, security, and architecture
Infrastructure software development and automation skills using Python
Proven experience with virtual networking and security constructs in AWS and/or Azure
Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCSE certifications preferred
Network security experience and certifications are a plus
Expertise in cloud networking and security constructs (DMZ)
In-depth knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud technologies
Strong knowledge of IP routing, firewalls, load balancers, proxies, and DNS
Experience with cloud PaaS service integration
Experience with ITSM practices (Change, Incident, Problem Management)
Strong advocate and practitioner of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Experience with Python, Ansible, and SDN programming
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
