Introduction

This is a 100% onsite role located in Sparks, NV. The position requires an expert in network engineering with strong hands-on experience in Cisco SDA or ACI, Palo Alto, Wireless, and IpSec VPN. Candidates will be working in a high-pressure factory production environment to resolve P1 issues using packet capture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Expert in implementing and supporting Cisco ACI (policy model, contracts, EPGs, fabric troubleshooting).
  • Experience administering and troubleshooting Palo Alto Firewalls including Security policies, NAT, routing, VPN (IPSec, site-to-site, remote access), Panorama management, and threat prevention profiles.
  • Manage and support enterprise wireless networks (Cisco, Aruba, or equivalent), including RF optimization, roaming, and high-density deployments.
  • Design, configure, and troubleshoot IPSec VPNs, including third-party interoperability.
  • Administer Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) including grid management, failover, and automation integration.
  • Lead hands-on P1 troubleshooting for complex network issues across Application, LAN, WAN, DC, and security domains.
  • Real-time packet capture skills to investigate complex issues during live P1 calls (Wireshark).
  • Strong understanding of network routing and switching protocols required.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting Level 3 and advanced network issues and performing callbacks to ensure issues are resolved with appropriate solutions provided to the customer in a high-pressure factory environment.
  • Responsible for investigating causes, testing solutions, and suggesting solutions in place to reduce the time taken to resolve network-related tickets.
  • Manage new and existing equipment, hardware, and network device software upgrades.
  • Understanding network support priorities and objectives and taking an active role in accomplishing them.
  • Leading and driving technical operational issues independently in a high-pressure environment engaging multiple stakeholders during live troubleshooting.
  • Helping Level 1 and Level 2 resources to address network-related issues.
