    As a Network Engineer, you will participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructures. This role requires foundational knowledge of networking protocols, switching, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, and automation tools like Ansible and Python. You will work closely with senior engineers and the IT operations team to deliver and support scalable network solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls.
    • Work with SD-WAN technologies to configure and optimize wide area network connections.
    • Provide support for Wi-Fi networks, including troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
    • Collaborate with the network team to automate network tasks and configurations using Ansible and Python scripts.
    • Troubleshoot network issues related to performance, connectivity, and security.
    • Support network monitoring tools to ensure network uptime and optimal performance.
    • Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
    • Provide technical support to internal teams and end-users.
    • Assist in the implementation of network upgrades and changes as directed.
    • Participate in network design and improvement projects as necessary.
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging networking technologies and trends.
    • This position will also coordinate cabling and work with vendors.

    Required Qualifications:

    • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
    • 2+ years of experience in network systems administration, IT support, system administration, or a related role.
    • Basic knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and HTTP.
    • Experience with network switching technologies and protocols (e.g., VLANs, spanning-tree).
    • Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi technologies and troubleshooting.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
    • Good understanding of network security best practices.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • An Associates or Bachelors degree in information systems, computer science, or equivalent experience.
    • Hands on experience working within Data Center environments including cabling, managing vendors and hardware installs strongly preferred
    • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or similar.
    • Experience with Network Access Control - Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager
    • Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.).
    • Experience with cloud-based networking or hybrid cloud environments.
    • Familiarity with network security technologies (e.g., VPNs, firewalls).
    • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python and/or Ansible.
    • Familiarity with SD-WAN concepts and configurations.
    • Hands-on experience with monitoring, diagnostic, and analytics tools.

    Work Environment:

    • The expectation for this position is to be onsite five days a week.
    • In this role you will be part of an on call rotation.
