Network Engineer

Responsibilities: of the Network Engineer: • Support and maintain shared lab infrastructure including network devices, servers, endpoints, and related systems. • Troubleshoot network connectivity, system performance, and end-user technical issues across the environment. • Assist with configuration, deployment, and maintenance of switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless technologies. • Provide help desk support and technical assistance for lab users, ensuring timely resolution of issues. • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement infrastructure improvements and support lab initiatives. Qualifications: of the Network Engineer: • 2+ years of experience supporting network infrastructure, systems administration, and/or help desk environments. • CCNA certification or equivalent hands-on networking experience with routing, switching, and TCP/IP fundamentals. • Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux systems within enterprise or lab environments. • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across networking, systems, and user support. • Excellent communication skills with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
