We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Tech Services industry. This exciting role will put you at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, where you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our complex network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Network Engineer, you will:

1. Design, configure and maintain networks using Cisco Meraki, VMWare, and other advanced technologies.
2. Implement and manage security measures including Firewalls, VPN, and active directory.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WAN, LAN, layer 2, layer 3, TCP, and IP networking.
4. Conduct regular network performance tests and system backups.
5. Collaborate with the team to develop and implement network enhancements and projects.
6. Provide technical support and guidance to users and other team members.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that our network infrastructure is robust and efficient.
8. Document network configurations, procedures, and changes.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

1. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Network Engineer role or similar.
3. Proven experience with Cisco Meraki, Firewalls, WAN, LAN, VPN, layer 2, layer 3, TCP, IP networking, VMWare, and active directory.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
5. Strong knowledge of network security measures and protocols.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. A team player attitude with the ability to work independently when needed.
8. Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent would be a plus.
