Scope of the Project
The State of South Carolina is seeking experienced Network Engineers and Network Administrators to support enterprise network infrastructure, security, implementation, and operational support for statewide IT environments.
Daily Duties / Responsibilities

• Configure and support enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and maintain Cisco networking equipment.
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall issues.
• Monitor network performance and availability.
• Perform network upgrades and firmware updates.
• Document network architecture and operational procedures.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning.
• Provide Tier II/Tier III network support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Network Administration.
• Cisco Routers and Switches.
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• VPN Technologies.
• Network Security.
• Firewall Administration.
• Wireless Networking.
• Network Monitoring Tools.

Preferred Skills

• CCNA or CCNP.
• Palo Alto / Fortinet.
• VMware Networking.
• Government/Public Sector experience.
• Azure Networking.

Candidate must be a current South Carolina resident.
