Job Summary

The Network Engineer Lead oversees network design, strategy, implementation, and operations. This role designs and maintains network infrastructure using Cisco Nexus platforms, administers complex LAN and WAN technologies, documents network changes, maintains network diagrams, and resolves connectivity issues in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• 
  Lead network design, strategy, and infrastructure implementation.
  
• 
  Design, configure, and administer LAN and WAN technologies.
  
• 
  Manage network infrastructure using Cisco Nexus platforms.
  
• 
  Document network changes and maintain network diagrams.
  
• 
  Resolve connectivity issues and provide technical assistance as needed.
  
• 
  Configure, tune, monitor, secure, and manage network hardware and software.
  
• 
  Lead and support large-scale networking projects.
  

Requirements

• 
  At least five years of networking experience;seven or more years of direct experience in networking systems, network operations, or enterprise networking is preferred.
  
• 
  Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, and firewalls, including Palo Alto and Cisco technologies.
  
• 
  Intermediate knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
  
• 
  Intermediate knowledge of software-defined wide area networking.
  
• 
  Experience leading at least four large-scale projects.
  
• 
  Bachelor s degree in business, computer science, management information systems, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  
• 
  CCNP or a similar certification is preferred.
